AfriNIC Introduces LIR CBT (Computer Based Training)


AfriNIC has developed a Computer Based Training CD-ROM for LIRs (and any other party
interested in learning about AfriNIC number resource management procedures). The CBT
is fully interactive and voice-enabled. Your browser will need to have the Macromedia Flash
plugin enabled in order to use this material, which is approximately 20MB. The CBT covers
all the topics usually taught at the LIR training events that AfriNIC conducts.

For those that cannot travel to the LIR Training, the CBT is the answer.

A CD-ROM of the CBT has been sent to all our members (Along with the 2006 invoice) and
will also be distributed at each training event and/or AfriNIC meeting.

If you are an LIR/member and have not received your copy of the CD-ROM, please write to
training@afrinic.net to request a copy!

Instructions for running the course:

- Windows and Mac users can run the "run_me.html" file to start the course.
