Like all other RIRs, AfriNIC also aims to serve ISPs and other organisations within its geographical service region. Any entity can become a member of AfriNIC.

There are two types of membership:

  • End User (Non-LIR and ASN holders)
  • LIR

To register as a member of AfriNIC, please fill in the Registration Service Agreement and send it back by fax to +230 466 6758 or a signed scanned copy to new-member@afrinic.net.

This signed agreement must sent back by regular mail to AfriNIC address .

Membership Process steps

1. Check your eligibility

2. Register Online via the MyAfriNIC portal.

3. Sign the Service Agreement (RSA)

4. Send the signed Service Agreement by fax or email. Original documents
should be sent by courier.

5. Copy and fill in the appropriate resource in your mail editor using the supporting document and send it to our IP Analysts

6. Make your payment (Setup Fee + Membership Fee) once your request is approved and an invoice is sent to your organisation.

 

For Provider Agretable (PA) IP Address:
Fill the 'IPv4 First Allocation' template

For End-User (PI) IP address
Fill the 'IPv4 End User Assignment' template

For ASN
Fill the 'ASN request' template

Send your request to AfriNIC hostmasters. The hostmasters will evaluate your request and contact you for follow up.
